Automated uncap and recap for sample vials
A new video for HT4000A - HTA Sample prep workstation - has been published.
This video focus on automatic uncap/recap function of HT4000A.
Automatic uncap/recap is particularly useful when samples or solvents are volatile. In such cases septum piercing is not recommended because a sample loss can occur, especially if samples remain long time in the workstation; therefore it is more advisable to uncap the sample vessels, perform liquid handling tasks, and then immediately recap.
In this video we show:
- Sample vial displacement
- Screw cap decapping
- Screw cap recapping
